Panopto FAQ pt 1

Overview

At UTSA, Panopto is our choice for storing and creating video content. Videos take up a lot of storage space in Canvas courses and it is recommended you use Panopto to free up space in your course.

How to upload a video to Panopto

Where is your video file located?

On Zoom

UTSA's Zoom is integrated with Panopto. After recording a Zoom session it will upload to your course folder in Panopto. This may take a few hours to complete. If you are unable to find your recording please contact Academic Innovation.

I haven't recorded my video yet

You can record directly from Panopto using their Create tool or record a Zoom session that will upload to your Panopto account.
