Overview
In spring 2026 updates made to the Banner system resulted in the grade entry process needing to be moved from myUTSA's Classic View over to the myUTSA Modern View. The information in this guide was provided by the UT San Antonio Registrar's Office.
Grade Entry and Transfer Dates
Generally, grade entry opens one week before midterm grades are due, and on the first day of final exams. For specific dates, please review the transfer dates website.
Faculty at UT San Antonio are recommended to use Canvas for storing and sharing grades with students. Instead of needing to meet with your students to go over their grades, the students can check their grades whenever they login to Canvas.
Additionally, whenever the official Midterm and Final grades need to be entered, there is a process for grade transfer from Canvas to myUTSA that will transfer your grades for you. To learn about the Grade Transfer tool and process please review this website.
If you do not wish to use the Grade Transfer or miss the window, please follow this step-by-step grade entry guide.
